International trainer delivers courses in Kazakhstan Add this

In October 2009, an international training course was run in Almaty in the head office of G4S K for senior staff members.

The four day course was to train senior managers in how best to teach Security Site Supervision.

The international trainer from the UK later went on to teach Security site supervision to managers from AGIPs security department in Atyrau.

The fundamental purpose of the training program was to teach security staff to be able to assist the company top-management in achieving success.

Subjects covered included: 

  • Duties of Security Department Personnel, both in daily activities and emergency situations, as well as,
  • Techniques Used by Terrorist and Other Organized Criminals for Deception of Security, and the Respective Countermeasures
  • Weapons and Explosives, Crime, Terrorism, Search and Investigations Techniques, Physical, Electronic, Procedural 
  • Types of Protection, Manning Security, as parts of the entire security system of a company, are the themes that were also studied.

The training included theoretical and practical parts. The participants practiced surveying the buildings’ outer perimeter security level and making recommendations on improving the system of physical security of the installation.

The experiences exchanged were found invaluable in improving the understanding and knowledge of security personnel who left the training with a useful toolkit of measures for improving site security.

Participants on all courses run, both G4S K personnel and students from the client were highly appreciative of the training conducted on an extremely professional level by the Security Consultant from Great Britain, Mr. Martyn R. Bird.
