Emergency Call Services
The emergency response or “911” service offered by G4S Kazakhstan (G4S K) was introduced as a support security service to national and international companies, employees and families. It has been operating since 1997.
The service consists of dedicated telephone lines, multilingual emergency operators and emergency response Groups or ERG’s. The 911 service means that customers never alone and can call for assistance regardless of the situation.
Once our emergency operators receive a call for assistance, the message is passed to the duty officer who tasks the nearest ERG team on the operational radio network. Depending on the situation, the duty officer may task additional ERG teams to the location or reschedule patrol routes of other ERG’s to ensure area coverage. Once an ERG is tasked, the duty officer activates the reserve force as a standby in support of the ERG.
The ERG teams consists of English speaking security officer and driver. The nearest team will arrive within the shortest time possible to any location specified by the client, be it home, office or any other location within the city to assist the client.
The ERG may be called in any emergency or threat situation including the following:
- Attack (physical attack, verbal abuse, attempted robbery etc);
- Explosion (in apartment, near the house, in car or as a result of any breakdown;
- Illness or injury (to call up the medical service);
- Specific risk or threat, suspicious persons or subjects;
- Flood, fire or utilities problems (in any of these cases clients can contact our company and we will assist);
- Traffic accident (our ERG should be called in parallel to the traffic police forces);
- Unknown locality, lost (the operators and the ERGs will attempt to ascertain your location based on the information available) etc.
The ERG will be dispatched to the registered address (apartment, office, storage facility etc.) in case of activation of intruder alarm system. Response to automatically received signals may vary, depending on cause, i.e. panic button activation, movement sensor signal, fire alarm system activation, first aid button activation, humidity sensor activation (in case of water in the guarded area), gas sensor signal etc. Our company has developed specialized response and coordination actions, which in some cases may involve additional assistance from other specialized services.
How to contact the company
The clients may call G4S K dispatching service in case of troubles or emergency using mobile, office or home telephone. When making the call the information given is vital for the dispatcher to task ERG team to the correct location. The emergency operator will, as a minimum require company or organization name, family name and location. As soon as the operator has this information the ERG team is dispatched regardless of the incident. The emergency operator will then ask for information on the incident and assistance required.
