High Quality provision of security services 4 February 2010
In most developed countries particular attention is paid to issues of providing security, timely methods of production control and quality of product and service.
With the view to improving quality standards the ISO 9001 series were developed in the world to help organizations to introduce and provide an effective quality management system.
Quality management system (QMS) – is management of industrial and economic activity of an organization, focusing on quality of the final result. These are first of all deeply thought rules of work and interaction of employees within the company, which are documented carefully.
G4S Kazakhstan, providing their security services for sites of banks, oil and gas, mining sectors and a range of commercial premises, has achieved a leading position in these spheres, mainly as a result of investing in up-to date security technologies conforming to international quality standards.
In 2009 a strategic decision about development and introduction of QMS complying with international requirements and norms of ISO 9001 series was made in the company. At the moment QMS has been successfully introduced, certified and accredited with SGS United Kingdom Ltd. Systems & Services Certification (HU 09/4062).
Continuing improvement of Quality Policy G4S K senior management has set an aim to pass on to the new version of ISO 9001:2008 standards and successively to introduce QMS in all branches of the company. In 2010 these measures are planned in Astana, Aksai and Ust-Kamenogorsk branches.
QMS Introduction in the branches will allow staff to focus their effort directly on quality, to improve effectiveness of administrative personnel, to systematize paper-work, regulate interaction between subdivisions, to turn their activity into a planned activity, to identify and work through industrial process and procedures, to focus on prevention of errors and not on their elimination, to demonstrate our potentials to consumers in providing quality services.
We believe that QMS introduction will allow improving quality of services provided, and in general, will improve the image of the company and will give certain benefits compared to competitors.
